AirTel Business

29 07 2013

Kenya is home to a few billionaires and many unemployed and poor people. The issues of unemployment is rampant and pose a huge challenge to all stakeholders who have good intentions for Kenya. At inspiration Centre, we have been able to come up with different businesses to address this challenge.

AirTel Money Transfer

Our new business is called AirTel Money Transfer.  This business offers customers an opportunity to send money, receive money, pay bills and deposit money to their accounts. Inspiration Centre gets a commission for every transaction made which is translated to supporting our ministry.

We are excited with out new venture and hope that it will make a difference in our community.

Inspiration Centre Art Camp 2013

20 07 2013

It’s time for the Art Camp again but this time, it’s a little bit earlier for us. We are used having our Art Camps in November/December but this time around, we decided to hold this one on August 10th to August 13th at a place called Eburru near Naivasha. The other unique thing about this year’s Art Camp is that we will be working with our under 14 year olds both from Mathare slums and Eburru village. We came up with the theme MADE IN GOD’S IMAGE and we are interested to see how city kids will interact with rural kids.

Inspiration Centre

Our children will learn performance poetry, culinary arts, videography, photography, sculpture, mural painting, bead work, drama and maybe even dance. These skills will equip our children with ammunition to face the tough world around them. Inspiration Centre would like to thank the Denver Community Church (DCC) led by pastor Dave for supporting the camp. We look forward to a great experience and a humble opportunity to listen and learn from one another.
